Habib Group started its operations as a small business from Kawnpur, Calcutta in 1932 with Industrial power-transmission solutions riding the wave of industrialisation in sub-continent. Over the next 90 years the group kept crossing one mile-stone after another and expanded into more and more sectors of society.

At the start of 21st century the group evolved to become Nortal Habib Group and started catering to regional clientele. In 2020 the Nortal Group finally became a member of FAMES Group to offer it's services to Global Clientele uder the FAMES group's umbrella and it's offices in Middle East, Europe, USA and Canada. Today our business concerns range from Industrial solutions to IT to Salts & Minerals and power-transmission to Textile sourcing to Back office support and beyond.
